The Leap That Changed Everything ~
Two thousand and fifteen was a faith-stretching year for me. Having worked as a human resources professional for a highly-rated global company for 13 years, I had become very comfortable. However, God had other plans for my life. My comfort was about to get disrupted. In May 2015, I got a tingling in my spirit. God was calling me to resign from my well-established position to create my own business. The horror! “Lord, who quits a job without a job?! This cannot be what You’re telling me to do!” I agonized over the decision for months. My prayers turned into debates with God. I couldn’t imagine leaving my steady job to enter unchartered waters. I felt God’s voice telling me to give up my comfort zone and truly trust Him. And finally, with my eyes closed and with all my might, I decided to take the plunge and trust His plan for my life. In August of 2015, I quit my job.
And in October 2015, I formed Journey Unlimited Consulting.
Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.
Apart from the divine inspiration that resulted in the company’s formation, I have always had a passion for helping people find their paths to career fulfillment. As an HR consultant and talent and leadership development manager, I encountered too many people who were unhappy with their careers. These people were chronically stressed and unable to live up to their full potential. I formed Journey Unlimited Consulting to help people take control of their lives and take the necessary steps to walk along their unique paths. I desire my clients to live their careers on purpose. My goal is to empower professionals to unleash the greatness within themselves to walk with boldness to the future they crave.
As CEO of Journey Unlimited, what I bring to coaching is a blend of head and heart, support and encouragement, and a deep track record of professional success in both corporate and small business. I know how to create innovative strategies to help individuals and companies achieve their goals.
I work with people from all religious backgrounds. My own Christian faith is an important part of my story, and I acknowledge that the spiritual side of a person is critically relevant to how life is lived. My perspective is that God creates each person with unique talents and gifts that should be celebrated! I am respectful of others with differing beliefs and will not impose my beliefs on you. I take a holistic approach to coaching to help my clients incorporate their personal, spiritual, and professional goals to live their career for a purpose. I believe when you live your values, use your strengths, live who you are by design, life and work are fulfilling.
